Which detects the users type of device and chooses the best player.&nbsp; Great news for all, especially iPhone and iPad users (like me). CMS users can grab the new script code from their Vimeo Videos and replace it with the old code. Same steps apply.&nbsp; As always if you need help contact me directly or submit a <a href="http://support.ckinteractivedesign.com/" target="_blank">support ticket</a>. </p>
<p> "The Universal Player is as easy to use as the old embed code, just a lot more compatible. Instead of being a direct link to a Flash player the new Universal Player can automatically detect what kind of device is viewing the video and choose the optimum player based on the device's capabilities. For example, it will serve mobile video to iPhones and Androids and HD to iPads and Desktops." <a href="http://vimeo.com/blog:334" target="_blank">read more at Vimeo's Blog</a>.</p>

options. First, you need to make sure the data you want to import is in
one of the accepted formats. Here is some information about supported
formats.</p>
<li><strong>BlogML</strong> is an open standard for
blog content supported by Community Server, DasBlog, Subtext,
SingleUserBlog, Windows Live Space, WordPress, Blogger and others.</li>
<li><strong>WordPress XML (WXR)</strong> is an extended RSS format for the WordPress system. </li>
<li><strong>RSS</strong>
is a common standard supported by most every blogging system. However,
RSS feeds generally only contain a group of the most recent posts
contained on a blog, so it may be impossible to import all of your
blog's posts using its RSS feed. Also, RSS feeds do not always contain
the comments associated with a post. Therefore, RSS should be a last
resort for importing blog content.</li>
<h3>How to:</h3>
<ol>
<li>Export your blog posts from your current site or another site that has posts you would like to import. </li>
    <li>Login to your website.<br />
    <img alt="" src="http://support.crystalkelly.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/admin_login.gif" style="float: right;" /> </li>
<li>Navigate to the blog element where you would like to import the posts.</li>
<li>Click on Settings from the Blog element toolbar dropdown.<br />
    <img alt="" width="228" height="163" src="http://support.crystalkelly.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/Blog/blog_menu_settings.gif" style="float: right;" /> </li>
    <li>Click on the ADVANCED tab.<br />
    <img alt="" width="227" height="85" style="float: right;" src="http://support.crystalkelly.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/Blog/advancedbutton.jpg" /> </li>
<li>Scroll to the bottom to the heading Blog Import.</li>
<li>Beneath the Import From a File, click on the browse button to find your file to import.
<p>Note: If you do not have a file to import you can choose the Import From a URL option by typing in the URL of the blog posts.</p>
    </li>
<li>It is recommended that you click in the check box for Generate 301 redirects for imported posts? to help the search engines. </li>
<li>Click the Import Blog Posts button.</li>
</ol>

You can
use the built-in calendar element tools to create events, or you could
choose to use an external calendar software (like <a href="http://www.google.com/calendar" target="_blank" linkindex="19">Google Calendar</a>, .<a href="http://www.apple.com/dotmac/" target="_blank" linkindex="20">Mac</a>, <a href="http://www.zvents.com/" target="_blank" linkindex="21">Zvents</a>, <a href="http://30boxes.com/" target="_blank" linkindex="22">30 boxes</a>
... etc.) to manage your events and then have your calendar display
those events on your website. You could also subscribe to any public
iCalendars and bring those events onto your website instantly.</p>
<h3>Example Use:</h3>
<p>If
you would like more advanced recurring events on your website, this is
the option to go with. Many people might be using Google calendars or
other iCal based calendars already so this makes the transition very
easy and convenient. </p>
<h3>How to:</h3>
<ol>
    <li>Login to your website.<br />
    <img alt="" src="http://support.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/admin_login.gif" style="float: right;" /></li>
<li>Go the the page where your calendar is.</li>
<li>Click on Settings from the calendar element dropdown list.<br />
    <br />
    <img alt="" src="http://support.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/Calendar/calendarSettings.jpg" style="float: right;" /></li>
    <li>Click on the ADVANCED tab.</li>
    <li>You'll
see a section for "Calendar Subscription" and a field to enter your
external iCal feed URL (your external software like Google Calendar
will provide you with the iCal URL)</li>
<li>Paste your iCal feed URL into that field.</li>
    <li>Click the Update button.<br />
    <img alt="" src="http://support.publishpath.com/Websites/supportme/Images/Calendar/update_button.jpg" style="float: right;" /></li>
</ol>
<p>One
other nice feature is that once you've subscribed, you canoverride the
title and description of the events by editing them within your
calendar. Just edit an event like normaland you can add web-only
content to an event for display purposes. Theevent still stays
connected to your iCal source. Keep in mind that ifyou ever unsubscribe
from the iCal source, all events related to theiCal source, even
content added through your website, will bedeleted</p>

excellent tools it provides. <br />
<strong>Friendly URLs</strong><br />
Every time you create a
new page, blog post, or calendar event, the system creates an SEO
friendly URL that is the same as the title of your page, blog post or
event. You can edit the friendly URLs however you wish, giving you
ultimate control over the keywords included in your URLs.<br />
<br />
<strong>Custom meta content</strong><br />
You
can easily add and edit meta keywords and descriptions for all pages in
your site. Just click on "page settings" and choose the advanced tab.
Remember that the description meta tag controls the content that shows
up in the search engine results page on many search engines.</p>
<p><img width="547" height="198" src="http://www.lightcms.com/Websites/lux/Images/Blog/LightCMS_metatags.jpg" style="border: 2px solid #a5a5a5;" alt="Metatags Screenshot" />&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>XML sitemaps</strong><br />
Our CMS automatically generates an XML sitemap that is updated whenever you
make changes to your site structure. If you use Google's webmaster
tools or other applications to help you with your search engine
optimization, you can provide this sitemap to the search engines to
assist them with indexing your site. The address of your XML sitemap is
simply [yourdomain]/sitemap.aspx.</p>
<p><strong>Friendly sitemaps</strong><br />
Our CMS also automatically creates a friendly sitemap that you can promote to
your visitors as a place to find links to all of the content on your
site. Including a link to your sitemap in the footer or elsewhere on
your site will help search engines find the sitemap and, in turn, find
links to all of your public pages. It's just another layer that can add
to the SEO mix, as well as providing a friendly user experience. Your
friendly sitemap can be found at [yourdomain]/sitemap.</p>
<p>301 redirects<br />
301
redirects are the best and most SEO friendly way to redirect traffic
from one URL to another. It is wise to use 301 redirects any time you
change the URLs for content on your site, especially when you are
moving a new site onto the CMS. 301 redirects make sure the search
engines can find your content in its new location. Without them, search
engines simply see that your old URLs no longer work and drop them from
their rankings. The CMS's built-in 301 redirect manager lets you
manually create redirects as well as importing a sitemap to create
batches of redirects from a previous site.</p>
<p><img width="551" height="176" src="http://www.lightcms.com/Websites/lux/Images/Blog/LightCMS_redirect_manager.jpg" alt="301 Rediect Manager" style="border: 2px solid #a5a5a5;" /></p>
<p><strong>Primary domains</strong><br />
The system also lets you specify a primary domain and uses domain-level 301
redirects to force all traffic to the primary domain. This applies even
to www and non-www versions of the same domain, which search engines
often view as separate. Choosing one domain as primary helps you avoid
"duplicate content" penalties and also ensures that you primary domain
captures the value of all inbound links to your site. Choose a primary
domain by selecting the radio button next to your domain in My Website
-&gt; Settings.</p>
<p><strong>Robots.txt<br />
</strong>Robots.txt is a
file used to direct web robots, wanderers, crawlers, and spiders on how
they should or should not index your site. Our CMS gives you full
control to add content to your site's robots.txt file. Simply visit My
Website -&gt; Settings and click on the "Advanced" tab.<br />
<br />
<strong>Easy Google analytics integration</strong><br />
Google
Analytics offers a free way to get comprehensive stats about your
website traffic. Because you have full access to the HTML of your site,
it is easy to add the Analytics scripts to your CMS sites. Simply
visit My Website -&gt; Designs and edit your design to drop the script
onto each of your HTML template files.</p>

the resources on our support page, or fill out our contact form to ask
us directly. </p>
<h4>Can I use my own domain?</h4>
<p>Absolutely. When you're ready, you can assign any domains that you own to your websites on our CMS.</p>
<h4>Do I have to pay for hosting, too?</h4>
<p>Nope. Every CMS website includes free cloud hosting. This is just one of the many advantages of our CMS web-based system.</p>
<h4>Does the CMS work on Macs?</h4>
<p>Yes! and on PCs. Our CMS is an online application so there's nothing
to install. All you need is an internet connection and a modern web
browser. Both Safari and Firefox are supported on Mac. On PC, we
officially support IE7 or later and Firefox. Linux users can also use
Firefox.</p>

<span>It's a valid question, and one we don't mind answering.</span></h2>
<p>Time
is just as valuable as money, so when you're evaluating the "cost" of
your CMS, you have to look at more than just the sticker price. After
all, if you're spending your time learning, supporting, or upgrading,
you're not using that time building your business. That's why CMS
maintains a focus on ease-of-use. Everything is built to keep your
learning curve short, which saves you time.</p>
<p>But there's
also time involved in installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and
maintaining the hosting of "free" and even some paid CMS systems.
Often, CMS tools require you to host them yourself and a single
installation can require significant time to manage. With our CMS, on
the other hand, you never have to mess with the software. No matter how
many sites you have. Again, this saves you tons of time that you can
use to build your business.</p>
<p>Perhaps the biggest one is saving time. The CMS is designed to
streamline your business and let you focus your time on content. Free
systems can drain your time and, after all, time is money.</p>
